2011 Philmont Trek |
2011 Philmont Trek. 50+ mile trek through the mountains of New Mexico. High adventure and drama. Mini-bears (alive and well, and not so much), bears, deer, skulls, rock climbing, rappelling, axes, and black-power rifles. Bear bags, injuries and chewed up boots. Two weeks of pure outdoor paradise. Memories for a lifetime!

| 2010 Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge Campout |
| Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge camp out and hike in Southwest Oklahoma. We hiked through Charons’s Garden – some of most the beautiful and rugged country in Oklahoma. We jumped boulders and climbed mountains. Wild turkey and deer surrounded our camp in the morning. And coyotes howled through the night.

| Webelos Outdoor Weekend is always fun. This year we sponsored the Scottish games (and no one got hurt!). It was great being at the newly remodeled Camp Garland.

| 2010 Philmont |
| Philmont Scout Ranch Trek for 2010. The pictures tell it all: the bears, the scenery, the comraderie, THE HIKE!! Our young men and the adults who accompanied them met the challenge. An unforgettable high adventure.

| 2009 Cedar Lake Trip |
| Scouts and leaders camped and ate and joyed the sceneray at Cedar Lake in Southeast Oklahoma. Everyone enjoyed the hike amid the beautiful Fall foliage and weather.. November 13 to 15, 2009

| 2009 Summer Adventure Trip – (Maxwell) |
18 Scouts and leaders crammed a full vacation into a great five day trip to Colorado and New Mexico. We summtted a sand mountain, rafted and kayaked white water rapids, rode a narrow gauge coal-fired railroad through the mountains into the San Juan National forest, hiked into the forest, and swam the freezing Animis River. The boys worked toward the Whitewater Rafting merit badge, and also visited the Kit Carson museum and Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. We ended the trip in the yurts at Red River.
